Castor Fashion and Tec take over it Co RTW, manufacturer of Rochas, Monique Lhuillier

Milan – A new Italian fashion prototype and manufacturing company was born.

Castor Fashion and Tec, two specialists in this sector, have come together to take over the HIM -RTW production and sales companies and to set up a new company called Modartis.

Castor Fashion and Tec have only taken over the company of the company, which also produces shoes for Amina Muaddi, Jacquemus, Phoebe Philo, JW Anderson, Coperni and Courrèges.

As a result of the deal, Modartis decreases the existing agreements for the clothing between him Co and Los Angeles -based designer Monique Lhuillier, the French fashion house Rochas and the Israeli designer and 2019 LVMH Karl Lagerfeld Prize Hed Mayner.

The financial details of the company were not announced, but in the agreement Castor Mode checks 70 percent of the modartis and the remaining part, which was assigned TEC, the Roberto Zanetto belongs.

Zanetto was appointed president and Chief Executive Officer of Modartis. And the founder of Castor Fashion, Angela Picozzi, and his Chief Operating Officer Fabrizio Ruozzi both sit on the board and take responsibility for product development and production.

Modartis based in Curno, an hour from Milan, has an integrated business for prototypes, production, logistics, licensing and marketing of women, men, demi-couture, knitted goods and leather goods. Men’s clothing in particular is an essential part of the company and strategically complements Castor Fashion and Tec.

The company aims to continue the know-how from him based on Gibò’s experience, a company founded by Carlo Zuccoli in 1960 and became the leading of ready-to-wear, knitting goods and leather goods for brands such as Giorgio Armani, Moschino and Jean Paul Gaultier in the 1970s and 80s.

In 1990 the original company entered the Orbit of Japan’s Onward Holding LTD and, over time, signed licenses at Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Viktor & Rolf, Helmut Lang, John Galliano and Alexander McQueen. In 2005, the Iris shoe specialist merged to continue to form a luxurial group. This was renamed the Italian production of weddings in 2021.
