Iranian strikes on Qatar disturb flights for thousands

Thousands of passengers had disturbed their trips through the Iranian rocket attacks against Qatar.

Almost 100 flights to destinations in the Middle East were diverted on Monday afternoon due to the Iranian attack on a US military base in Qatar.

While an “uncanny calm” was closed as a sky for all civil flights at the main airport in the Qatarian capital of Doha, thousands were scattered by others in various safe ports.

At least seven flights from Qatar Airways from Great Britain to Doha, who left airports such as Heathrow, Manchester and Edinburgh, were diverted during the flight due to the rocket attacks.

One from Edinburgh to Doha was redirected to Istanbul. Another landed in Riad, Saudi Arabia, a third from Heathrow back over Italy.

Other airlines were also severely affected, and the Airnav Radar flight tracking website estimated that 91 international flights, which are to go through the Luftspace of Qatari, were redirected.

In the meantime, a large number of people in Doha were neutered in Doha because the country’s authorities closed its sky to planned flights.

A passenger who only identified as Jai said there was an “uncanny calm” at Katar Airport when the Iranian attack took place.

“Nothing will be advised”

He said: “No other communication than travelers who discuss each other. Nothing that the travelers’ travelers were advised to travel to travelers. The boards are still reading as” go to gate “and” Get in now “, even though they were not the case.

“Workers say that things outside the airport are chaotic.”

The travelers were asked to check before they tried to go to the goals of the Middle East, or the entry flights that go over the region.

Julia Lo-Bue said the managing director of the Advantage Travel Partnership Association of Travel Agents: “This is a developing and quickly moving situation, and we recognize that it will probably lead to a certain amount of consumer fear that they are already in the region and for those who are already there.

“Travelers who have booked trips to the Middle East through a travel agency should also contact the agent and the airline that is best placed to offer the latest current instructions.”

The advice for travelers from the abroad and Commonwealth office, which were recently updated on Monday morning in front of the strikes, says: “There is a possibility of disruption of travel disorders, including short-term air pace closures, delayed and canceled flights and other unexpected travel effects.”

Qatar Airways was contacted for a comment.
