Reissehose – The Gateway drug for intelligent, comfortable dressing

Reissehose – The Gateway drug for intelligent, comfortable dressing

Forget Smart Casual. Nowadays it is smart, comfortable what I want. Smart Casual was about making intelligent dresses look more relaxed. Smart Comfy is about feeling more relaxed.

Smart Comfy may not sound so different from smart casual, but it’s just a whole new perspective to dress. Smart Casual was about looking wisely without looking stuffy. It was about what they looked like, more than how they felt in themselves. The goal was to be chilled, not to feel cold.

Smart Comfy starts from the opposite direction. It’s about clothing that looks polished but have no hard edges. The Gateway drug that made me addicted and that I can see on the street is the same for others, is a few tears. If you don’t get the meaning of an intelligent, comfortable, more convenient, you will suspect that you will get your first couple.

This is a wardrobe category that did not exist a year or two ago – soon it will be everywhere

Do you already have her? Reissehoses as semi -formal trousers. You have the silhouette and details of pants that you may wear into the office with a shirt. The federal government does not look elastic (although it may be later), but on the button -fastened or belt loops or both. They are not as tight as leggings, but they are also not formless, such as tracksuit pants. They drape. The fabric is also important. Not the traditional, clever way that demands that you are regularly and upright to avoid the wrinkles and bags that go hand in hand with sitting, but also nothing fluffy or flyer or pajama adjazent. The new generation of technical substances can apply to silk or wool mixture, but have the zero burning factor from Lycra.

The travelthosis is a wardrobe category that did not exist a year or two ago. It just happens and soon it will be everywhere. It has legs because it does what successful products do in all categories. It solves a real problem. This problem in real life is: Sometimes we spend hours on the plane or on a train or on a desk on the sofa, and then have to be presented enough to feel publicly, regardless of whether this is available to a board or offer a school collection. You can sit down in travelers, even a nap without getting your clothes dried or getting too hot or gets on your nerves in other ways, and then you can get up and not look like a crumpled slob.

I bought my high -rise pants from Lululemon Daydrift on a recommendation because I was looking for pants that was comfortable enough to wear it on a long journey, but good enough to work directly from the train or plane. They do this job perfectly, but it turns out that I wear it all the time. You feel easy to do. The covenant has hidden rubber band hidden inside, with a cord cord adjusts the size so that you stretch with you and you don’t have to wear a belt unless you want. You can throw them in the washing machine, they dry super quickly and do not have to iron. They are not cheap – £ 118 at full price – but they really go as elegant what they feel worth.

Lululemon is best known for making leggings that you see in the fancer kind of yoga class. Athleisure brands run the market in traveling, which makes sense: As I said, Smart Comfy is primarily about the feeling. Many people recommend Vuoris Villa pants (£ 130) who resemble Lululemon’s Daydrift. If I am picky, I would point out that the rubber band on the back of the villa is not hidden so that you need a belt or an inappropriate top to make you look polished. For a cheaper option, good old Uniqlo now seem to get to the act, with a new style of intelligent wide trousers (£ 34.90), which is available from the end of June.

Pants that make themselves comfortable enough to mix, but clever enough to pass if they have to look snappy. It feels like Athleisers, but as a tailoring. It’s like a cheat code to life! The era of the Smart Comfy has arrived.
