“After I had been part of the serpentine for several years, I think it is the party of the summer season, but it has changed. This year was much more fashionable and less about the artists and more about who was there and the Who -is -Who of the fashion world,” said Oliver Marques, an art collector.
The midsummer bash was summarized by Cate Blanchett in a look inspired by Ocean by Dilara Findikoglu. She was accompanied by Michael R. Bloomberg, the chairman of the serpentine board of trustees. Bettina Korek, CEO of Serpentine, and Hans Ulrich Obrist, Serpentine’s artistic director.
The Soiree celebrated the new pavilion, which was designed by Marina Tabassum and her company Marina Tabassum Architects.
“The pavilion is here for a certain period of time, so we focused on the idea of time and temporality. Architecture is quite often about continuity and the relief of an inheritance is always with architecture, but we thought it was a temporary building, so this idea of time and therefore a capsule said,” said the Bangladeshi-Born architecture.
Tabassum entitled “A capsule in time” and said it was a way to capture energy and moments.
“The serpentine pavilion is a very interesting commission. All architects are always looking for who the next will be. So it was absolutely something special to have this opportunity and build it,” she added.
Tabassum wanted to honor her inheritance at the summer party and wore a Jamdani -Sari, a traditional Bangladeshes weaving of craftsmen from the south -Rupshi of Narayanganj in Bangladesh.
A Biryani station served lamb and vegetarian Biryani in the pavilion, while crisely dressed waiter -carpaccio served and angel -rosé and ruinart champagne.
On Tabassum Design, a deliciously long table with desserts was carefully observed by the guests on diets with water blows and only touched by the non-fashible amount, which instead opted for champagne and sneakily smoked cigarettes that were prohibited on the grounds of the pavilion.
Designer Harris Reed ran with the actor Eiza Gonzalez around the pavilion, which he dressed in a black and golden number from his autumn 2025 collection.
“I chose the dress for you because I love someone who can be completely confident. [even in an] Almost half -naked [dress]. She seeps into strength and we tried several looks, but this was the most reduced look I made. I had a lot of fun playing with the contour of the body and the gold leaf without relying on a massive silhouette to steal the show, ”said Reed and wore one of his own Nina Ricci design.
The designer David Koma, born in Georgian, accepted Georgia May Jagger and Cambryan Sedlick, both wore his designs.
“It’s a summer party, but I didn’t want to wear some flowers,” said Jagger, who instead made a black dress with a black rose from the Coma’s Resort 2026 collection, which debut this week.
Sedlick took a night out of his skateboard equipment and attracted a tailor -made ensemble. “It feels very uniform and structured how my body fits. I usually go with a classic T-shirt and jeans, but that makes me very good in terms of myself,” he said.
Designer Rebecca Vallance also took the Gothic route when she dressed Kelly Osbourne in a black, wearless dress.
“I fully trust Rebecca, so I think: ‘Whatever you want me to wear it, I will wear.’ Every time I dress one of her clothes without failure, I feel confident and ready for the day, ”said Osbourne, who met the designer by Nicky Hilton Rothschild.
The Model Adot Gak dived in her white uniform on a dress from Sydney Lane with 31-karat allison quay diamond earrings.
“I’m always wearing white,” she said, saying that she will spend her summer on the private island of Mustique.
Lacostes Creative Director Pelagia Kolotouros had got out of the way for the serpentine summer party from Paris and it was for the British weather and for the start of the Wimbledon championships in her linen jacket and plise shorts.
She said Tabassum’s pavilion had she thought about her next show. “I’m always looking for the next set design for the show,” she added.
Designer Conner Ives, whose T-shirts “Protect the Dolls” with people such as Pedro Pascal, Addison Rae and Tilda Swinton have become viral, said that he would sneak away in Italy for five days in Italy for five days.
“[The T-shirts] Do you have your own life now. I am really humble, only through the reaction of the community to everything. From yesterday we had exceeded sales of £ 1 million from the T-shirt. It just feels very great to do something when it is so necessary, ”he said.
Ives, the designer with sustainability, which was always on his thoughts, wore a Prada jacket that he wore to his senior final ball, which he had bought on Ebay. “I was always such an eBay girl and so I came here, the whole vintage -ding was my main inspiration,” he said.
The night ended with swing weather and guests exchanged the heels against apartments as soon as they left the party.
